Hartalika Teej Vrat Story In Hindi
It is necessary for women observing Hartalika Teej fast to read or listen to the Hartalika Teej fast story. Hartalika Teej Vrat Katha) was said. which is like this
Hey Gauri! In your childhood, on the banks of the Ganges on the Himalayas, you did severe penance in your childhood. During this period you had cut by chewing dry leaves with only intake of air without eating food. In the coolness of Magh, you constantly did penance by entering the water. In the scorching heat of Vaishakh, the body was heated with Panchagni. Spent the torrential rains of Shravan under the open sky without taking food and water. Seeing this painful penance of yours, your father used to be very sad and angry. Then one day, seeing your penance and father’s displeasure, Naradji came to your house.
When asked by your father the reason for coming, Naradji said – ‘O Giriraj! I have come here on the sending of Lord Vishnu. Pleased with the severe penance of your daughter, he wants to marry her. ‘I want to know your opinion’ about this. Hearing the words of Naradji, Parvatraj said with great pleasure – “Sir! What objection can I have if Vishnu himself wants to marry my daughter? He is the real Brahman. It is the wish of every father that his daughter should become the Lakshmi of the husband’s house with happiness and wealth.
Naradji after getting your father’s approval went to Vishnuji and told him the news of the marriage being fixed. But when you came to know about this marriage, there was no place for your sorrow. Seeing you sad in this way, one of your friends asked you the reason for your sorrow and said that – ‘I have chosen Lord Shiva with a sincere heart, but my father has fixed my marriage with Vishnu. I am in a strange dilemma. Now I have no other option but to give up my life. Your friend was very intelligent. He said – ‘What is the reason for leaving life here? In times of crisis, one should be patient. The meaning of the life of an Indian woman lies in the fact that once she has been selected as a husband by her mind, she should live with her for life. Even God is helpless in the face of true faith and integrity. I will take you to the dense forest which is also the place of cultivation and where even your father will not be able to find you. I have full faith that God will surely help you.
You did the same….. Your father was very worried and sad not to find you at home. He started thinking that I have fixed the marriage of my daughter with Vishnu. If Lord Vishnu has brought the procession and the girl is not found at home, then it will be a great insult, considering this, the mountain king started searching for you all around. Here you continued to search, while you along with your friend started living in my worship in a cave on the bank of the river. Bhadrapada was the Hasta Nakshatra on the third shukla. On that day you built the Shivling of sand. Throughout the night, he awakened by singing a song in my praise. Due to the effect of your severe penance, my seat was shaken and I soon reached you and asked you to ask for a boon, then after finding me in front of you as a result of your penance, you said – ‘I have chosen you as a husband with a true heart. . If you have come here really pleased with my penance, then accept me as your consort. ‘Then saying ‘Tathastu’ I returned to Mount Kailash.
As soon as the morning dawned, you decided to fast with your friend by pouring all the worship materials into the river. At the same time, Giriraj along with his brothers reached there searching for you. Seeing your condition, he was very sad and asked the reason for this harsh penance of yours. Then you said – ‘Father, I have spent most of my life in severe penance. The only purpose of my penance was to get Mahadevji as husband. Today I have lived up to the test of my penance. Since you had decided to marry me to Vishnu, I left the house in search of my adoration. Now I will go home with you on the condition that you will marry me with Mahadevji only. Parvatraj accepted your wish and took you back home. After some time he married us with full law and order.
Lord Shiva further said – “O Parvati! The marriage of both of us became possible as a result of the fast that you had done by worshiping me on the Shukla Tritiya of Bhadra pad. The importance of this fast is that I give desired results to every woman who observes this fast with complete devotion. Lord Shiva told Parvati that whoever observes this fast with full devotion, will get an immovable honeymoon like you.
This fast is called ‘Haritalika’ because Parvati’s friend had taken her from her father and the state to the forest. ‘Harit’ means to abduct and ‘Talika’ means friend.
